Experience

As one of Saint John’s most experienced civil litigation lawyers, David Rogers has also dealt with everything from homicide to petty theft and has amassed an extensive experience in important fraud and large drug cases. He has handled a large number of personal injury and death cases.

David’s interest in admiralty law was at least partly inspired by his working from a very tender age in the family fisheries and shipping business in Saint John. In the course of his work at the forefront of the development of fisheries law in Canada over the last 25 years, which encompasses all aspects of the commercial fishery, continental shelf delimitation and aquaculture, he has been on pretty much every kind of vessel and oil rig.

David has authored a number of papers on maritime law and he continues to lecture on civil litigation for the New Brunswick Bar Admission Course. According to him, his greatest accomplishments and focus in life are his children and faith.
